The Price family are privileged by most people's standards. Then, one terrible Sunday, their sullen seventeen-year-old daughter, Hannah, does not come home. Two days later, her nose stud lands on the front doormat and a ransom note from two wild kidnappers demanding half a million pounds comes through the fax machine. While the desperate family rallies to raise the money for Hannah's safe return, the pressures of guilt and reduced circumstances strip away the family's middle class faade - but it's when Hannah comes home that the full price to be paid will amount to more than money. Written and adapted from her novel by Deborah Moggach . Stars David Suchet (Poirot ), Geraldine James (Calendar Girls ), Amanda Ooms (The Forsyte Saga ) and Neil Stuke (School for Seduction ).
